Milk Snake

Milk Snakes are native to the southern part of North America. They can be found in woodland or desert environments. These slender snakes have broad bands of yellow and red that are separated by a thinner black band. Milk Snakes have been know to reach 6ft in length but tend to only grow 3ft to 4ft long. There main diet consists of lizards and snakes; however they also consume rodents and birds. These snakes are egg layers and have on average 24 eggs per laying. After about 10 weeks the eggs hatch with the young being six-seven inches.
